Save Tracks Dot Org Foundation (“SaveTheTracks,” “we,” “us”) is an Ohio 501(c)(3) public charity (IRC §509(a)(2)), EIN 32-0845032, located at 5698 Hudson Dr Unit B7, Hudson, OH 44236. This policy explains what we collect on savethetracks.org and how we use it.

What we collect

  • Contact form — name, email, topic, optional venue name, and message you send us.
  • Donations — name, email, billing details, and payment data processed by our payment providers (e.g. Stripe, PayPal). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed, and approximate location, via hosting logs and any analytics we enable.
  • Cookies — essential cookies to run the site and optional cookies you accept through our cookie banner (SureCookie).

How we use it

  • Reply to tips, corrections, press, and donation questions.
  • Process gifts and send receipts / acknowledgements.
  • Keep the public record accurate and the site secure.
  • Understand aggregate traffic (if analytics are on) so we can improve the record.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not buy land with your data or use the form for lobbying lists.

Who we share with

Only processors that help us run the site and accept gifts, for example:

  • Web host and WordPress infrastructure
  • GiveWP and payment processors (Stripe, PayPal)
  • Form and cookie tools (SureForms, SureCookie)
  • Email delivery if we reply from our inbox

They may only use your data to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

Contact messages and donation records are kept as long as needed for the record, legal, accounting, and tax purposes, then deleted or archived under our normal retention practices.

Your choices

Email us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold, subject to legal retention rules for gifts and financial records. Use the Contact form (topic: Other) or write to the Hudson address above.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes
